Elon Musk the founder of electric car maker, Tesla Motors, said "there definitely won't be a recall" on the company's flagship vehicle the Model S. There have been a series of accidents involving the Model S in which the car has caught on fire. There are at least three reported cases of the car going up in flames after being in an accident. Musk went on the say, "We're about five time less likely to have a fire than an average gasoline car." I think Tesla is just going through some growing pains right now and still need to get the kinks out of the finished product. Earlier this year the Model S reported records from the NHTSA for crash safety.
