Yesterday at the Code Conference Intel Corp. introduced a walking, talking robot made from 3D printed parts. If consumers are willing to assemble the robot they will have to do it with a kit that will cost $1,600. The all white robot was two feet tall and made its way onto the stage and introduced itself and waved its arms at the crowd. Intel describes that robot as a research bot, that can be programed to sing, translate languages, send tweets and even serve a cold beer.
