Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) is going to cut the production of its 747-8 jumbo jet as demand for the model continue to slump, while the demand for four engine planes continue to rise. Boeing will be making 1.5 747-8's a month compared to their 1.75 quota. They company plans to keep production at this pace until 2015 for now. This is the second time this year that Boeing as announced it was going to slow down the pace of production for the plane. The production was cut from two planes a month back in April.
