Alicia Keys will leave her position as creative director of BlackBerry on Jan. 30th; one year after joining the failing smart phone maker. The Grammy award winning singer joined BlackBerry last year at the debut for the BlackBerry 10 operating system. The new operating system and the device it ran on turned out to be flops with low sales and market share. Keys was given the title as a publicity stunt, a stunt that was doomed from the beginning as Keys was caught tweeting from an iPhone shortly after becoming the creative director.
