The jobless rate in Greece hit a new record high of 27.6%, in the month of May. Despite unpopular policies passed by the government such as wage cuts and tax hikes, the country's employment rate is still more than double the average rate of the entire EU. The young people of the country are being hit the hardest. In Greece young people between the ages of 15-24 have the highest unemployment rate at 64.9% and those from 25-34 are at 37.7%. I smell a good old revolution on our hands here, somewhere in that country there is a young charismatic who is going to be able to speak to the hearts of the young people and I'm sure a change will come. I'm just not sure how good it will be.
