PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP) reported a net income of $1.9 billion ($1.23 per share) beating expectations of $1.8 billion ($1.18 per share). The earning were flat compared to the same period last year. Net sales were up 1.5% to $16.9 billion just below of the $17 billion analyst were expecting. Pepsi's snack division really pulled through for the company their sales were a big part of the success the company is seeing in the last quarter. So if we are comparing to Coca Cola who reported stronger numbers this quarter it would see as though Pepsi has some work to do.
