David Marcus, the President of PayPal has announced his is stepping down from his post with the company to join Facebook. He will be working Facebook's mobile messaging products. In a public facebook post Marcus wrote, "I feel that PayPal has never been in a better position to capitalize on its unique place in the market." Marcus joined PayPal in 2011 after it bought his company Zong, he was promoted to President in 2012. Until a replacement is found PayPal's leadership will report to Ebay's President and CEO John Donahoe.
