Black Friday, along with the rest of the weekend that follows Thanksgiving is usually the busiest shopping weekend for retailers and shoppers. According to the National Retail Federations, this year shoppers sent less than last year. Over 141 million unique shoppers went shopping over the Thanksgiving weekend, up from 139 million shoppers last year. This year shoppers spent less with the average shopper spending $407.02 between Thursday and Sunday, compared to $423.55 last year.
